So you do have to switch to another difficulty and then back to survival, unless it's reloaded under some circumstances, you never know with bethesda if they decided to make extra convoluted script for something trivial which changes difficulty around or reloads the quest holding the whole survival thing on it.ģ. Script is attached to quest and there is nothing in this script that will force a script reload. If you are on survival mode already, it has to be reset.
I have no idea of those mod managers set this sort of thing properly or not since I don't use any.Ģ. Read up info on nexus or just google fallout 4 invalidate archives. With this, after a fair bit of testing didn't get any crashes in this scenario.ġ. remaining chance was vats opening before stimpak effect which blocked it. After some time best way I found to check this whole concept was to use hotkeyed stimpak and hit vats at the same time, 9 out of 10 times would crash the game. I'm getting crash if I go into vats mode as one of the needs changes, apparently despite the apparently low odds of those two happening at the same time, it actually happens often, or I'm really good at crashing f4. For me that doesn't actually crash anything, I waited in vats to see the notification and was just fine. Glad I gave it an extended go after checking initially if vats crashing was due to needs change while in vats menu.
